Zoe-perry
Perry is she is Chicago native, born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. Because of their fear of stress, the parents didn't want to see performing before she reached the age of age 18. Perry was shy during high school and didn't act. The actress began her acting career in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends after she was moved from Boston University. Perry was able to land minor TV roles in Law & Order: Criminal Intent following her graduation. The feeling of homelessness, however, caused her to move to California and she returned to work on stage. Perry's mother and I appeared on Broadway together as part of The Other Place, in 2013. Her father Kevin McKidd performed in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer prize-winning film Anna Christie alongside her in 2015. Perry played a lead role in the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's show The Family. In 2017, Perry was a part-time character in the ABC political drama Scandal in which her father was the main character. In addition, she played her older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - an CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. The role was offered to her by auditioning for an open role despite being a fan of this role.
