Pickler grew up in a challenging environment. To get rid of an abusive relationship, her mother left her when she was just 2 years young. Pickler had her mother back in her life by 1995. She took care of Pickler. The situation did not work out the way she had hoped. Pickler went back to her grandparents when she turned twelve years old. They helped them through adulthood. Pickler was required to care of her kids without parents. Pickler admitted she didn't find time to attend school and began learning to become a housewife from an early age.
