Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She also coaches and instructor at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter who is also a CrossFit athlete, is also a celebrity journalist. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In addition, she is famous for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was raised by her parents at Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from when she was a young age. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as in 2021). She's 5' 7 and weighs 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit training in California in the year 2009. In the initial games she was very successful and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. The team was unable to claim any titles but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd in CrossFit Games and was awarded the Silver Medal that year. In the following year she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the contest becoming the first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 helped her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second consecutive time she had won consecutively. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. In 2021, she won with a bronze. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is a rising athlete who has appeared as the spokesperson for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs as well as Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and Sidekick Yerbae. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel that has a couple of thousand viewers where her video clips, diet and travel vlogs are uploaded.
