Teresa Palmer

Teresa Palmer is an American actress and model of Australian Origin. Her most well-known role was in the film "2:37," for which Palmer was awarded an Australian Film Institute Award as the Best Lead Actress. She was a troubled child as a result of divorce between her parents and was brought up partly by her mother, but also by her father. She began her career in acting after taking on the job of an extra in a variety of Australian film productions after dropping out of university in order to support herself financially. Her move to Hollywood and established herself following initially being rejected and failing in the field of box office. Because of mixed reviews and a lack of experience, she was unable to compete within the extremely in-demand entertainment business. Alongside Australian actors TahynaTozzi and NatalieKelley the trio created Avakea Productions. She also was trained in martial arts to get roles in action films. Additionally, she was the brand ambassador for "Modern Darling" collection of Sydney jeweller Jan Logan. Mark Webber is her husband and co-director. The couple has two kids together, as well as an unrelated step-son from his previous marriage.
